We&#8217;ll be deluged with epic rain and their assessment will read &#8220;light drizzle&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amateurradio.ca\/\">http:\/\/www.amateurradio.ca\/<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><span style=\"font-size:14pt;\">CANWARN is the Canadian Weather Amateur Radio Network.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>These are amateurs supporting Environment Canada with eyeball reports of severe weather as it passes through their area.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Environment Canada can watch storms coming through on radar and satellite imagery, but they cannot see what is happening UNDER the clouds.<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><span style=\"font-size:14pt;\"><span>A note of caution before readers get to ecstatic and race off to sign up:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><span style=\"font-size:14pt;\"><span><span style=\"font-size:14pt;\">CANWARN members are not storm chasers.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Rather than chasing the weather, we wait for the weather to come to us!<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14pt;\"><span><span style=\"font-size:14pt;\"><span>I am co-operating fully with the later instruction, merely keep my close encounters\u00a0to ruminating on the radars of places I&#8217;ve never been.
