Useful 0001

Spotted something v useful today: a set of three brushes to clean the spout of the teapot and teakettle (what is a tea kettle exactly?)

#5 in the mixed media tea blends: dirty day blend

The dirty day blend. #5

Two tablespoons of Ahmad London Ceylan Earl Grey

One tablespoon of Twinnings Darjeeling pink tin leaves.

Well how do you think it would taste?

Exactly.

That’s how it tasted.

By the hot drop, let it sit, added another half pot of water, it was mightier, but still reserved in the way the dirty day outside was. Did you see how long it took to shift? It didn’t. It just stared at you with one eye cocked daring you to question it while you receive nothing but a grunt in response. That was the day, that was the blend.

#4 bonjour tea blend

Barry meets Ahmed

Cork meets London.

The bonjour blend:

1 x Barry’s teabag

1 tablespoon Ahmed of London’s Earl Grey. (obtained round Main and 40-49th)

Perfectly sufficient to offer the tongue a greeting. Not startling but certainly a comforting linger.

c’est vous qui decide

An average Ridgways Organic Earl Grey retrieved from the compost on an average windy afternoon, not unfortunately at 4pm when such things should be reflected upon.

Looks a bit bulky to be mere dust.

Generally N America could use a little help on her average grade teabags. Hence the lean for Ridgways. My french could use an equal rescue.
