Slán abhaile 2010

To end on a multi-directional note. A punctuating fire hydrant. Would have preferred a post box, but they’re not so popular.

Snoozy endangered Monk Seal I encountered yesterday. Sensible creature, the snoozing, not the endangered bit.

The sea is warm, I have learned.

Hither to the sea has always been of the freeze-yer-arse off variety.

The sea is also not a mini version of Giant’s Causeway beneath my feet today.

The mosquitos are nibbling behind my ears … and singing to me.

Sopranos they are.

A not unhandy hot head is not unhandy

Not unhandy at all.

Not a bit of it.

Until the above lands on it.

Papaya’d.

Birds, all kinds of birds, red he’s a popular bird, flowers and a bicycle.

I thought it was called Kahula. I knew the place began with the letter K. It is not what I thought it was called. It’s Puff the Magic Dragon’s home.

I did not expect the smells to be so immediate and fascinating. The palm trees are bound in xmas tree lights.

Jungle, lava, and trunk — a wet tree smell. Sweet and acrid is how my companion describes it. Wet tree is my description. Warm about the legs also.

Already two weather instances to comment on. The sky is occupied. I am tired.

Boredom – Alberto Moravia
