Gracious! We have a major nay mega weather event happening in the city right now. I apologize for my shoddy coverage of its impending arrival. I’ve been occupied with the Occupiers and pre-occupied with a promised temperature plunge around Nov. 16. and therefore the Alaska storm event went over my foggy head.

15,000 without power here and in Sunshine Coast reports say. Discernible increase in light here, due to every leaf being blow off the tree outside my window. The sound of thunder was heard but drowned out by neighbour having a monster fight with her daughter. I’d have preferred to enjoy the thunder.

In other news I am fighting a version of horse or zebra flu, dosed it with a documentary about early punk in Vancouver.

What’s horse or zebra flu? Before you rush to medical school on google it’s main symptom is a peculiar ache at the back of the ears, sore teeth and a dragging pain in the back that suggests you’ve carried a load of bricks up the stairs on all fours.
